On iOS: Premium activates automatically through your Apple ID. Try closing and reopening the app.
On Android or web: Premium activates using the licence key sent to your email when you subscribed. Go to Settings → Plans → "Have a code?" and enter it. If it still isn't showing, email us and we'll help right away.

The basic Calm breathing pattern (4-4-6) is free. Premium unlocks two additional patterns — Box breathing (4-4-4-4, great for focus) and Deep breathing (4-7-8, great for anxiety) — plus background sounds (Rain, Ocean) that play during the exercise.
The preset durations (1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes) are free. Premium lets you set any custom duration up to 180 minutes and save a favourite that loads automatically next time you open the timer.
Folders are a Premium feature that groups related buttons together so the main board stays clean and easy to navigate. For example, instead of many individual drink buttons, you create a "Drinks" folder. The user taps the folder, sees Water, Milk, Juice etc inside, then taps one — that word speaks and goes into the sentence bar.
The folder itself never speaks — only the buttons inside it do.
To set up a folder: Go to Edit mode → tap an ADD slot → choose "Create a folder" → pick an emoji and name it → tap Create → immediately add buttons inside.
Aidova also offers 5 ready-made starter folders (Drinks, Food, Family, Activities, Places) that you can add in one tap.
Premium: up to 5 buttons per folder · Premium Plus: up to 15 buttons per folder, plus your own photos on folder buttons.
This is a Premium feature. Go to Settings → Print / Export Board → tap "Export current category as PDF" to generate a printable PDF of the current board, handy for school or hospital visits.
Settings → Word Report (Premium Plus). Shows the last 40 words tapped with weekly counts and a frequency bar.
The Recent tab shows words in the order they were tapped — useful for seeing what your child communicated today. The Top Words tab ranks by how often each word was tapped this week — useful for deciding which words to promote to permanent custom buttons or sharing with a speech therapist.

These are Premium Plus features. Insights (Settings → Insights) shows the most-used words from the last 7 days, helpful for spotting patterns or sharing with an SLT. Smart Suggestions gently prompt you in Edit layout mode to add a frequently-used word as a permanent button. Both stay entirely on your device and are never sent anywhere.
